PROJECT: Vee Quiva Casino & Hotel

LOCATION: The facility will be adjacent to and south of the current Vee Quiva Casino located off 51st Ave, south of Baseline Rd-Komatke, AZ

OPENING: Summer of 2013

DESCRIPTION: This truly unique project will feature an expansive casino floor to include over 900 slot machines; 40 table games, 20 table poker room; 550 seat bingo hall; 3 story 90 room hotel; fitness center, pool and; 7 restaurants, 2 bars, and Premium Players Club Lounge.

Construction is scheduled to begin in summer of 2012 and will take place just south of Vee Quiva Casino's existing footprint. The current casino will remain open and operational during construction until the new Vee Quiva Casino & Hotel opens in the summer of 2013.

SIZE: 70,000 square foot casino; to include over 6,000 square feet of banquet space and 2,800 total parking spaces including a 1,000 space covered parking garage.

FEATURES: The facility will feature a wide variety of dining options including a food court, coffee kiosk, signature restaurant, and a 24/7 dining option.

ECONOMIC IMPACT: The project will create over 500 new construction jobs. Upon opening, the hotel & casino will provide over 300 new permanent and part-time jobs; the project is expected to cost approximately $135 million.

ARCHITECTS: Friedmutter Group, Las Vegas, NV- this award winning internationally recognized architectural firm recently completed Navajo Nation's Northern Edge Casino, Gun Lake Casino and The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.

CONTRACTOR: Tutor Perini Building Corp., Phoenix, AZ- This award winning construction corporation was the general contractor for Seminole's Hard Rock Casino, Mohegan Sun Expansion, MGM Grand at Foxwoods, and The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas to name a few. According to ENR Southwest magazine, Tutor Perini Building Corp. is the leading general contractor in the Southwest.

ABOUT GRGE: Gila River Gaming Enterprises, Inc. ABOUT CEOT: Created in 2005 the Casino Expansion Owners Team (CEOT) is the Gila River Indian Community's (GRIC) gaming development entity charged with construction of all of the GIRC's gaming operations. CEOT managed the two newest casino projects for the Tribe; the Wild Horse Pass Hotel & Casino and the Lone Butte Casino. The GRIC contributes 12% of their gaming revenue with the State of Arizona to surrounding cities, towns and counties for governmental services that benefit the public including public safety, youth and elderly programs, mitigation of impacts of gaming, promotion of commerce and economic development.
