Five young ladies, including current Miss Gila River Raeging Storm Miles, delivered great performances at the 50th Miss Indian Arizona Pageant on Oct. 13 at the Chandler Center for the Arts.  Devanie Duwyenie (Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community) captured the title and was crowned by the out-going Miss Indian Arizona Jaymee Li Moore (Colorado River Indian Tribes).   Duwyenie will serve as Miss Indian Arizona with 1st Attendant Angelica Lopez (Tohono O'odham Nation) and 2nd Attendant Desirae Rambler (San Carlos Apache).
For her efforts, Miles received a pair of awards.  Miles won the People's Choice Award and the Community Service Award.
