The Gila River Indian Community's new Lone Butte Casino south of Chandler will be the second in the Valley to have high-limit gaming when it opens Nov. 20.
The first Valley casino to add high-limit slot machines was Casino Arizona just outside Scottsdale, which added $25-limit machines in February and now has 100.
Gila River Casinos President and CEO Harold Baugus said he does not expect the $60 million, 120,000-square-foot Lone Butte to draw long-distance high rollers.
