State Shared Revenue Program
Since 2003 the Gila River lndian Community has supported Arizona communities and residents through our annual revenue sharing program. We assist city, town and county governments and non-profit organizations to provide services in the areas of economic development, education, healthcare, public safety and transportation.
Funding for these grants is provided by a portion of Gila River Casino's annual revenues as a provision of Proposition 202 approved by Arizona voters in 2002, which created gaming compacts between the State ofArizona and Arizona Tribes. The intent of this funding is to support cities, towns and counties in providing government services that benefit the general public.
